ANOTHER LIST OF TIPS

bullet

After applying eyeliner, dip a q-tip in loosepowder and run it over the line to prevent smudges.

bullet

You don't neccessarily need a lip brush. If you're using sheer or natural colours, you can apply it from the tube, but if you're using very bright or very dark colours, use a lip brush for precision.

bullet

If you're using bronzer, use it on your neck too or it'll look fake.

bullet

If you want to use powder blush, apply loose or pressed powder first to prevent your natural oils from messing up the blucsh colour. Alternately, you can apply foundation.

bullet

Eye pencils should be warm when you use them, for a soft, smooth line. Rub it on your palm to soften the tip. Lipliners on the other hand should be cold, so stick them in the fridge before sharpening to get a perfect point, or to get a smooth, exact line when applying.

bullet

If your lipstick is bleeding out around your mouth, or keeps smudging, and the lipliner doesn't help, blend concealer around your mouth.

bullet

To line your lips, use feathery strokes instead of one harsh, obvious line.

bullet

Don't line outside your natural lip line. It doesn't make your lips look bigger, it makes your lips look like...you drew a line outside of them!

bullet

Always check your make-up in natural light, because indoor lighting can be very forgiving and prevent you from seeing weird colour problems like a (gasp!) foundation line.

bullet

Apply a lip balm, and then put shimmer powder over for a simple but still awesome lip look.

bullet

Try to get a trim at least every three months

bullet

Don't do two chemical processes without professional help (for example bleaching and perming).

bullet

Combing your hair is a lot more healthy for it.

bullet

Massage shampoo from the roots down to the ends. Reverse with conditioner; massage from ends to roots.

bullet

If you have curly hair, skip a few shampoos each week. You have drier hair, so it won't be as oily. Just spritz with water in the morning to freshen your curls.

bullet

To make a blow dry last, blast it with cool air as soon as you're done. Most hairdryers have a button just for this.

bullet

Natural bristle (wood and boar bristle) brushes stimulates your scalp and are a lot more healthy for your hair.  They also make brushing easier if your hair tangles easily.

bullet

ALWAYS wash your face before bed!

bullet

Read Labels.  Use products made for your skin type.

bullet

Always where sunscreen.  Whether it is 8 SPF or 50 SPF, it's better than absolutely none.  What I like to do is mix a little bit of tanning oil with some 15 SPF (That's the perfect number if you ask me) Sunscreen.  It gives a pretty good tan while protecting your skin.

bullet

Use baby oil right after you get out of the shower to lock in moisture. If you have a problem with blemishes on your back or chest though, avoid those areas.

bullet

Salty foods make your face puffy, so eat them in moderation.

bullet

Try sleeping with your hair up at night to reduce break outs.

bullet

Use a clean washcloth everytime you wash your face.

bullet

If you have sensitive or acne prone skin, read the label! Use products that are non-allergenic.

bullet

Have fun!
