MAKE-UP

Remember: the prettiest makeup is based on light and sheer colors.  Lavender, periwinkle, and a off white color are my favorites.

Keep your makeup look simple and natural. Start with lip gloss or tinted lip balm. Shimmer Shadows can be pretty but stick to pale shades. Experiment at home as much as you can.

The best teen look is pretty, fresh, natural, and clean. You don't want to look too hard or as though you're trying to look older than you are.  Try to avoid black eye liners and pencils, and harsh, dark, lip colors.

bullet

Lip liners should be kept in a cold spot so they don't melt.  An idea that most girls use is keeping the main liners you use in the freezer so they'll have a nice, hard edge when you sharpen and use them.

Keep eyeliners in a warm make up bag INSIDE your makeup organizer (Or wherever you keep your beauty products).  Eye pencils should be warm when you use them.

If you want to make your lips look bigger, make sure you make your lip makeup smooth, and blended well.  DON'T LINE YOUR LIPS OUTSIDE OF YOUR LIP.  It's not that attractive, girls.  Again, try to look natural, and not like your trying too hard.

bullet

Make sure your concealer or foundation is the exact same color as your skin, to make sure it looks perfectly natural.

bullet

Be very careful when applying your bronzer, foundation, concealer (whatever you want to call it -- the stuff that covers blemishes on your skin.  lol) to smooth and blend it into your skin well.  Also, check different lighting effects so you can make sure you blend in all of those yucky foundation lines.

bullet

A good Idea to keep your gloss from melting and gathering at the corners of your lips (don't you hate that?) touch on a bit of bronzer/foundation before you put on your lip stain.

bullet

Make sure your lip liner is blended in well with the rest of your lip color.  The deep red definite line was made for older women, try to look more natural.

bullet

Experiment!  Now is the time to get to know your likes and dislikes.  Have fun with make up!
